Making the Perfect Pitch: presentation skills for business success
Making the Perfect Pitch: presentation skills for business success
In business, the ability to deliver effective presentations - to lenders, prospective clients or potential investors - is a critical skill. Often, how you say it is almost as important as what you say. Learning how to make presentations that captivate, motivate or persuade an audience is essential to making the sale or growing your business.
In this workshop, participants will learn:
- The four types of audience
- How to organize a clear and impactful presentation
- The importance of key messages
- Secrets of effective delivery
Facilitator: Carl Duivenvoorden
Carl has spoken to over 350 audiences of all sizes. Venues have ranged from a major North American conference to the Toastmasters International global convention to a local high school with 1200 students. Carl brings eloquence, passion, fun and interaction to every speech he delivers. A member of Toastmasters International for over two decades, he has three times achieved Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest educational designation possible. He's a past Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest champion for the Maritimes, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire.
