About Us

The Chalmers Foundation raises funds to support healthy, caring communities by enhancing health and well-being through innovative and effective programs and initiatives. Since 1983, the Chalmers Foundation has raised over $40 million to enhance health and wellness in our community. The Foundation supports Horizon Health Network's Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Upper River Valley Hospital and Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation
In recent years, the Board of Directors recognized that the future of health care delivery (in particular, mental health), extends beyond the walls of the hospital. The 2022 Campaign, Enhancing Your Care, will raise funds for five projects across three facilities in Region 3.
