Chess Piece Pâtisserie is Fredericton’s only true Parisian style café offering incredible desserts, macarons, savoury pastries, soups, sandwiches and more. Start your day with a fresh breakfast pastry warm from the oven. Decadent desserts made from scratch daily, enjoy them in our cozy cafe or get them to go.

At Chess Piece, we are dedicated to providing you with great service and delicious, freshly baked delights. Our staff and bakers are friendly and knowledgeable. From allergies to gluten-free issues, we would be more than happy to steer you towards a cake or pastry that’s right for you!

Our Coffee is specially roasted for us by an independent Indian coffee grower. We offer drip coffee, both light and dark roasts, as well as our signature espresso roast. Decaffeinated coffee is also available upon request.
